On holiday at the Domaine de Bagheera, we invite you to discover Ajaccio, a city of culture and history.
The museum of Bonaparte's house in Ajaccio
We strongly advise you to visit the museum of Bonaparte's house in Ajaccio, 2 hours from the Bagheera naturist campsite.
The residence, now a museum, belonged to the Bonaparte family and was where Napoleon was born on August 15, 1769. It has a rich history and famous visitors, such as: Emperor Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie, Gustave Flaubert, Elizabeth of Austria, Edward VII, and many others have stayed there.
This museum will transport you into the history of this imperial family as you visit rooms decorated in the style of the period, with collections of everyday objects, family paintings and temporary exhibitions.
The Sanguinaire Islands, an archipelago of beauty
In Ajaccio, discover the Sanguinaire Islands archipelago during your stay at the naturist campsite in Corsica. This archipelago of 4 islands offers a magnificent atypical landscape thanks to its magmatic rock made up of dark and lighter shades.
The Sanguinaire Islands are home to different kinds of seabirds as well as a wild and sometimes unique flora, with some rare species not present in the rest of Corsica.
Follow in the footsteps of famous travellers who have written about these islands in their work, for example: Alphonse Daudet who mentions this archipelago in his collection of short stories.
